Warren Lotas and The Weekend Devise Bespoke XO Capsule Collection

Warren Lotas has already linked with the likes of READYMADE and Fear of God, so collaborations are nothing new for the LA-based artist and designer. However, Lotas’ latest team-up is arguably his highest profile offering to date, as the artist joins The Weeknd for an expansive capsule collaboration.
XO, The Weeknd‘s clothing imprint, is at the core of the collection, updending the line’s familiar graphics and silhouettes with Lotas’ luxe touch across a 9-piece offering. Each item is made with care in Los Angeles and given Lotas’ signature wash treatment once complete, ensuring that each piece is a one-of-one.
Alongside the familiar XO branding, Lotas’ iconic imagery appears throughout the capsule, juxtaposing his signature skeletons against oversized “XO” logos and The Weeknd song lyrcs. Abbreviated co-branding appears next to Dobermann heads on T-shirts and beneath the pocket of a denim jacket, while Death cavorts with zombie women against a wall of flames. Barbed wire lends a rugged edge to shirt sleeves, while the rear of a bomber jacket sees the “XO” logo partially transformed into Death’s sickle.

Below, watch Lotas meet a man he believes is be The Weeknd, who is definitely Grammy-winning Canadian musician Abel Tesfaye and not New York’s Tony Sirico, best known for his role on The Sopranos as “Paulie Walnuts” Gualtieri.
