Shoes 53045 Gets Moody With Bump'Air "Black Gothic"
An exclusive look at the spike-studded sneaker.
After we took a closer look at the debut Bump’Air silhouette, Shoes 53045 returns with a ferocious revision of the hefty runner. The original “Triple Black” colorway is upgraded with plenty of metal accessories, yielding a far more aggressive look.
Each pair of Bump’Air “Black Gothic” shoes offers 40 black zinc spikes spaced out across the forefoot and toebox, offering a mean contrast to the see-through air-filled midsole. Three matching metal chains loop around the heel of the sneaker and through the rear pull tab, giving the weighty runner an extra dose of shiny accents.
Though the Bump’Air design has been crafted to be ensure maximum comfort, the extra midsole heft adds some weight to the already imposing silhouette. The “Black Gothic” sneaker’s metal accessories don’t lighten the load — instead, they add an extra pound.
