Reebok Celebrates 40 Years of 'Alien' With the "Alien Fighter Bishop"
An ode to U.S.S. Sulaco executive officer Bishop.
Ridley Scott’s cult classic Alien turns 40 this May, and Reebok is commemorating the occasion with the “Alien Fighter Bishop.”
A rework of the “Alien Stomper”—the sneakers worn by U.S.S. Sulaco executive officer Bishop in the film—this mid-cut silhouette serves as a modern take on the Reebok BB 5600. Replacing the original laces with Velcro straps, this iteration also includes an ankle wrap and the vintage color scheme of white, dark grey and red accents. Branding hits appear on the shroud by the neoprene tongue, ankle strap and heel. Arriving with custom dustbags, special hang tags and a “Stomping Guide,” this model is a nod to cultural history fused with futuristic appeal.
The Rebook “Alien Fighter Bishop” drops on April 26 on footdistrict.com and select retailers for $205 USD.
In case you missed it, Reebok is reviving its 2001 Pump Fury Millennium silhouette.
