Part of the SB line’s recent revival, the upcoming animal prints and other canine reference-laden sneakers are inspired by the “Dog Walker” cannabis strain. Throughout the shoe, textured fabrications and specific color segments are used to mimic a true stroll in the dog park. The upper of the Dunk High features a Dalmatian pattern at the quarter panel accented by lush pony hair at the rear and grass-like hairy green suede frames.
Swooshes found on the shoe are done in a coarse bright red canvas to emulate a dog leash. Finishing up the shoe are clean white laces, insoles printed with a picture of dogs (owned by Nike employees), dog collar tags and a hit of brown on the outsole to playfully symbolize stepping in excrement.
Priced at $110 USD, the Nike SB Dunk High “Walk the Dog” is set to release on nike.com and at select retailers April 20. Do note this is a Quickstrike release, so quantities will be very limited.
