“Old Town Road” hitmaker Lil Nas X is continuing his vision of blurring genre lines. In the midst of completing his debut studio album, the musician posted a snippet of an unreleased song on Twitter.

In the half-a-minute clip, Nas X can be seen lip-syncing to a rock song accompanying his trap-like autotune vocals. The series of follow-up tweets confirm the title as “Bring U Down,” along with the participation of renowned producer and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder. “It’s from the perspective of people who try to ruin other ppls career when they see them on the rise,” he explained of the track.
