Contemporary art platform Avant Arte joined forces with renowned Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang on a new limited edition print entitled Yin-Yang Peonies. The partnered artwork measures 93cm x 123.7cm, printed using Somerset en Satin 410gsm paper. The visual on the print was inspired by a large-scale work by Guo-Qiang with the process involving his signature, systematic lighting of fireworks on canvas.
A total of 50 prints have been made for the edition that will launch on May 1 on Avant Arte’s website. Each piece will cost $5,431 USD. Funds raised from the sale of the prints will go towards the Cai Foundation that offers scholarships to emerging artists and supports contemporary art programs across the globe.
