Kanye West Discusses Rhymefest Feud in First 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' Testimonial
Inspired by ‘The Incredibles.’
Despite being married to Kim Kardashian, Kanye West’s appearances on the hit reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians have been minimal—until now.
The rapper filmed his first ever sit-down interview for the show’s season 16 premiere and mainly tackled his beef with ex-collaborator Rhymefest. In the clip, the two (with Kim acting as a mediator) are seen hashing it out and finally squashing their almost year-long feud. “We are love,” West says, officially making the two Chicago natives back on good terms.
For fans wondering why ’Ye decided to create a testimonial after seven seasons, the answer lies in the animated Pixar film The Incredibles. “It starts off with the interviews. The superheroes are giving interviews,” he explains at the beginning. “The wife got a big butt, and I just see our life becoming more and more like The Incredibles until we can finally fly.”
Watch the rest of the Kardashian clan update their lives in the short “katch-up” above.
