GOD SELECTION XXX, helmed by Yasunari Miyazaki, continues its “Ain’t no fake. Ain’t no parody. This is fxxxing ART” concept with a Spring/Summer 2019 collection centred on Western archetypes.
In a collection that includes a selection of T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, button-up shirts, trousers, socks and even a number of collaborative New Era beanies, GOD SELECTION XXX tap a number of American influences in this graphic-heavy SS19 drop. From Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone to the pizza chain Dominos and a number of graffiti-inspired flags, the collection is a reference-packed selection that plays into its anti-establishment, anarchist-styled approach.
GOD SELECTION XXX is celebrating its fifth anniversary with the drop of this collections. For SS19, GOD SELECTION XXX has dropped a pair of standout button-up poplin shirts, which reference Home Alone and reinterprets the stereotypical white-collar American uniform.
