YouTube original series Karate Kid spinoff Cobra Kai saw a highly anticipated teaser trailer today, confirming that the critically-acclaimed series will be getting a second series.

Following from season one’s cliffhanger witnessing the return of John Kreese, the next instalment of episodes sees new rivalries as Daniel LaRusso honours his mentor Mr. Miyagi, by opening a karate training school called Miyagi-Do. The move follows Cobra Kai’s controversial win at the All Valley Championship and introduces new conflicts and feuds which are teased in the trailer.

Season two will explore where Daniel and Johnny’s students will go, whether they will follow the path of Cobra Kai or Miyagi-Do, and is set to be another action-packed series.

The first season received an esteemed 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an audience reach of 55 million on its first episode, let us know in the comment below how you think Season two will fare, and watch the trailer above.
