Things Get Darker in New 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Part 2' Trailer

After receiving a teaser late last year, Netflix‘s hit show Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has just dropped the first full-length trailer for its highly-anticipated return.

Coming in at just over two-minutes, the new clip gears fans up for a more darker season as we see Sabrina, played by Kiernan Shipka of Mad Men fame, embracing her dark side. Along with preparing for her second year at the Academy of the Unseen Arts, Sabrina must also learn to balance her relationships with mortal Harvey and warlock Nicholas.

Along with the new trailer, series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa revealed over the weekend that the forthcoming season will conclude with a musical number. “We have an amazing musical number in the finale,” Aguirre-Sacasa told the Emmy’s For Your Consideration audience. “It’s been something we’ve been wanting to do since the beginning. One of the last days of shooting…I went up to Vancouver the day they were doing this big number. It was the proudest I’d ever been of a cast and a crew. They came together to do this huge set piece. So I’m really excited about that.”

Look for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Part 2 to land on Netflix Friday, April 5 with 10 new episodes. The show’s inaugural season debuted only a few months prior in October 2018, while a Christmas special also landed in December.
