Continuing to document the street style at Fashion Week events all over the world, we recently put together a roundup of how attendees dressed to catch the highly anticipated shows of Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo Fall/Winter 2019.

The annual celebration in the fashion capital brought out some of the best and boldest outfits. Attendees showed off their outlandish styling outside Shibuya Hikarie before and after some of the week’s most anticipated shows. Dramatic silhouettes and off-kilter proportions appeared throughout, with attendees showing extra love to Japanese stalwarts like COMME des GARÇONS and sacai. DIY and punk styling influenced Sex Pistols graphics and raw-hemmed coats, with plenty of deconstructed garments adding texture to otherwise muted looks.

Nearly every guest emphasized the importance of accessories, with head-turning waist bags, layered necklaces, statement hats and beefy sunglasses all adding visual interest to the looks. Patterns like BAPE camo and tartan plaid granted the outfits extra flair, underlining the value of standing out amidst the Fashion Week crowd.

Take a look through the gallery above to catch some of the street style from Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo.
