On Thursday night, Snark Park launched an installation preview for its inaugural Lost and Found installation to be displayed at is forthcoming Hudson Yards exhibition space. The preview was held at KITH‘s New York City location, a smaller-scale version of the anticipated presentation. The actual work is described as a “modern-day enchanted forest” that entices visitors to explore an otherworldly landscape made of diverse materials.

“We are thrilled to open Snark Park with Lost and Found,” says Snarkitecture Partner Ben Porto. “Characteristic of our practice, the exhibition seeks to create memorable moments by infusing art and architecture with a sense of play. We are eager to see how visitors respond to Lost and Found’s minimalist palette, changes in scale and original visual compositions.”

Highlights of the preview included limited edition cast totems placed atop pedestals and hollowed out pillars with dramatic interiors that encourage visitor interaction. Also, the new “Snark Bite” flavor made in collaboration with Snark Park and KITH Treats was available to sample.

Lost and Found will be on view at Snark Park through August 2019. The exhibition space will be located in the Shops and Restaurants at 20 Hudson Yards, on the second level. Tickets for timed entry are now available for purchase through SnarkPark.com. Tickets will become available in limited releases by month. The January release will include both March and April 2019.
