Virgil Abloh‘s long-standing love for Michael Jackson was confirmed back in 2017 when the creative delivered his speech at Harvard, debuting commemorative books titled “WHAT WOULD MICHAEL JACKSON DO?” AKA “THE INCIDENTS” (the lecture itself was titled “Insert Complicated Title Here”). Abloh’s recent Louis Vuitton menswear collection was a partial homage to MJ, and the latest Off-White™ drop underlines the importance of the pop star to Abloh’s designs.
A neon green hoodie and two T-shirts sport a blurry Jackson illustration printed on the front, with a collar tag emblazoned with “A.” The rear sports a bolded “ILLUSIONIST” graphic, with branding and Off-White™’s slogan about craft printed beneath in italics. The hoodie also sports a tonal zipper across the back, from sleeve to sleeve, for extra ventilation.
Shop the goods on Off-White™’s website with the hoodie retailing for $975 USD and the tees each weighing in at $290 USD. View Abloh’s MJ book cover below.
