K’ron, a 24-year-old rapper from the DMV, drops the video for his third single “Rocket.” The Adebayo Umoja-directed video follows the young upstart as he whisks away a beautiful woman from a party. K’ron said that the inspiration for the video was developed by the actual feeling he got from the song.

“My new visual ‘Rocket’ was inspired simply by the vibes of the record, I wanted to show the perspective of ‘I’m the one she needs most along with letting the brothers know it’s ok to have that one love,’” he said to HYPEBEAST. Watch the video above.

“Rocket” follows up K’ron’s previous records, “BLS” and “No BFs Outro.” The videos for the three singles are actually all connected into one longer short film. K’ron caught people’s attention after the success behind his SoundCloud hit “Round of Applause,” surpassing over 9 million streams.
