Nike Shares Official Images of the KD11 "Aunt Pearl"
Honoring the strength of 59 cancer survivors.
Since his fourth signature sneaker, Kevin Durant has made sure to pay homage to his late Aunt Pearl and help raise awareness about cancer through bright and bold colorways. Today, Nike shared official imagery of 2019’s “Aunt Pearl” iteration of the Nike KD11.
Crafted in partnership with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, the theme’s strong pink hue returns to coat the entire sneaker, from its Flyknit upper to its marbled sole unit. Additional details include a Kay Yow cancer ribbon on each heel and the names of 59 cancer survivors on the insoles and heel counters.
