London Fashion Week FW19 Street Style Marries Tradition and Trend
Classic British layers updated with timely colors, prints and patterns.

While New Yorkers struggled with fluctuating temperatures and flurries, London enjoyed a sunny Fashion Week, with attendees showing off their best seasonal statement pieces. Appropriately, the looks catered to both contemporary tastes and classic style, a suitable fit for the historic setting.
As is the norm for Fashion Week stunting, guests showcased plenty of gear from big brands, flexing Burberry coats and toting bags from Off-White™ and JW Anderson. More restrained styling included classic trench coats and louche suiting, providing a natural contrast to more of-the-moment items, like a Union Jack-inspired Libertine–Libertine set-up and the ubiquitous Gucci glasses. On-trend neon outerwear was omnipresent — orange in particular, with wool coats, bags and double-breasted suits all drenched in the citrusy color.
