Epic Games Finally Adds “Driftboard” to 'Fortnite'
For a limited time only.
Finally, after last year’s delay, the developers at Epic Games have implemented the Driftboard into Fortnite. Originally slated for a December arrival alongside Season 7, the Driftboard is the latest vehicle to be added into the game. Epic Games explained a few months back that “we’ve decided to hold the release of this new vehicle to make some final quality of life changes and other polish improvements.”
The trailer above showcases the vehicle in action, alongside a new time mode, called “driftin,’” that sees two teams of 32 ride around on boards trying to kill each other. The vehicle will be implemented into Battle Royale, Fortnite Creative, and Save the World, however, both the Driftboard and its new time mode will only be available for a limited time.
You can watch the Driftboard in action above, then check out the full patch notes for version 7.40 of Fortnite.
