Universal Orlando To Open ‘Epic Universe’ Theme Park in May 2025
The new park includes worlds dedicated to Nintendo, ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ and ‘Harry Potter.’
Universal has officially set an opening date for Epic Universe, its fourth theme park in Orlando, Florida. Set to open on May 22, 2025, Epic has been dubbed the company’s most ambitious park to date and is reportedly located on a 750-acre lot.
The park will be made up of five worlds dedicated to different Universal movie franchises, including Nintendo, Harry Potter and How to Train Your Dragon. Dark Universe is a world named after Universal’s classic monster flicks, such as Frankenstein, Dracula and Wolf Man.
Accompanying the new park is the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, which will offer guests their own entrance to Epic Universe.
While the opening is still months away, Universal is offering ticket packages to Epic Universe ranging from three to five day visits. Only one of those days will allow entry to Epic, however, while the other days will see guests visit other Universal parks.
A limited number of ticket packages will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, October 22. Annual Passholders for Universal will exclusively have the option to buy single-day tickets to Epic Universe beginning on Thursday, October 24.
