Denim Tears Reimagines Marc Jacobs' Tote Bag
Unveiling “The Tears Bag” as part of Marc Jacobs’ celebratory collection of 40th anniversary collaborations.
Marc Jacobs isn’t done celebrating its 40th anniversary quite yet. After a year filled with creative collaborative ventures to commemorate the monumental year, including ones with Cactus Plant Flea Market, NIGO and Anna Sui, Marc Jacobs is bringing on another New York City powerhouse – Tremaine Emory‘s Denim Tears – to deliver another clean, collaborative take on the fashion house’s famous Tote Bag.

The bag is reimagined in black and white, fully crafted from calfskin leather. Where the bag’s typical “The Tote Bag” lettering lays, it instead reads “The Tears Bag” in the same font with “Marc Jacobs” written underneath. A handful of Denim Tears’ signature cotton wreaths cover the sleek silhouette, which is rounded out with it’s typical shoulder stap, internal pocketing and zip closure.
