Famed Vancouver performance label Arc’Teryx Veilance is no more. In its place is Veilance, a brand with an understated name and the same approachably technical designs that fans crave.
Though it will remain under the Arc’teryx umbrella, Veilance is distinguishing itself from its function-focused parent company just in time for its tenth anniversary. “wWith our ten year anniversary approaching, we felt it was time for a new visual ID,” general manager Dominique Showers explained in a press release.
Spring/Summer 2019 will be the first collection issued under the Veilance moniker, reportedly the brand’s most versatile range to date. SS19 garments “are designed for packable travel versatility and adapt to rapid change in climate and environment,” Explains Taka Kasuga, Veilance’s creative director. The clothes create “a little change that can make a real difference.”
