Vans & Uprise Link up for Suede Half Cab Pro 92 in Charcoal Gray and Cream-White
Calling back the original design motifs of the ‘92 silhouette.
Following its deconstructed iteration of the BESS NI, Vans is back with a new collaboration, teaming up with Uprise for muted suede-tinged Half Cab Pro 92s in cream “white” and “charcoal gray.”
The 22-year-old skateshop is harkening back to silhouette’s initial 1992 release by keeping some of the original design motifs found in the earlier mold, like its two-piece toe construction. While some throwback details are embraced, the sneakers have also been tweaked for a more modern fit: featuring a thinner tongue, elevated foxing and generally sleeker. “Half Cab” branding is placed at the top of the tongue and rear sidewalls, while flat laces and rubber midsoles come in tonal shades for each respective colorway. As a finishing note, the sneakers include an essential UltraCush HD sockliner for added comfort and stability.
The Uprise x Vans Half Cab Pro 92 in “White” and “Charcoal Gray” are currently available at upriseskateboards.com for $75 USD.
Elsewhere, Loopwheeler is celebrating its 20th-anniversary with Nike for a special Air Max 90 collaboration.
