UNIQLO Looks to Video Games for the New Fortnite UT Drop
Featuring references to Slurp Juice and Loot Llamas.
Hot off the heels of its recent Dragon Ball Z drop, UNIQLO treads further towards the pop culture zenith with its latest collection entitled Fortnite UT. The uber-popular Epic Games release, luring almost a quarter of a billion players to its servers, continues to transcend the controller, this time finding its way onto a selection of T-shirts and hoodies.
The graphic collection is notable for its allusions to the popular game, reimagined with a fashion sensibility. Box logos referencing the franchise’s namesake make for a straightforward homage to Fortnite. Fans devoted to the battle royale will spot call-outs on other items that feature references to costumes and iconic characters, such as Slurp Juice, Loot Llama and Cuddle Team Leader.
