Reebok's Answer V Receives a Star-Spangled Makeover
Revamping Iverson’s classic silhouette.
As a follow up to Reebok‘s “Black/Silver” iteration of the Answer V seen back in October, the classic Iverson silhouette has returned, this time with a vibrant star-spangled makeover — Reebok Answer V “White/Scarlet.”
Starting at the top of the sneakers, the inner collars have been given a bright red tone, set against the crisp white mesh tongue and tonal laces. Stretching all the way from the heel to the toe box, a series of blue stars covers the body, complemented by details like the rubber Iverson logo and white toe cap. One noteworthy design is the large gold leather sheath placed atop the throat. It’s a bold highlight amidst the patriotic color scheme — the same gold palette appears at the heel as a leather overlay for the adjustable velcro strap. To finish off the design, the sneakers come with an articulated red and blue midsole, equipped with a full-length DMX cushioning system for optimal balance and support.
The Reebok Answer V “White/Scarlet” is currently available at atmos’ website for approximately $182 USD.
Elsewhere, adidas has unveiled a minimal Continental 80 in “White/Bluebird.”
