NEPENTHES NY x Reebok Workout Plus Receives an All-Black Overhaul
Ringing in the new decade with an understated take on the classic silhouette.
Earlier this year, the New York branch of Japan’s NEPENTHES family teamed up with Reebok for an understated take on the sneaker company’s classic Workout Plus silhouette. Now the Japanese retailer-meets-brand has announced that it’s ringing in the decade with the second installment of the sneaker collab, this time dousing it in a black and gum colorway.
Continuing in the same vein as the simplistic makeover employed on the previous iteration, the newly-unveiled sneaker features a black base, featuring grain leather on the upper with a contrasting nappy suede panel featured on placed at the midfoot. This is intertwined by a black EVA cushioned midsole, finally finished by a “Reebok Rubber Gum” outsole. “NEPENTHES NY” branding on the tongue tag rounds off the collaborative design.
The NEPENTHES NY x Reebok Workout Plus in “Black/Reebok Rubber Gum” arrives via Reebok’s webstore on January 1. The retail price is set at $120 USD.
