Tinashe Is Creatively Rejuvenated in New Album 'Songs for You'
Featuring guest appearances by MAKJ, 6LACK, Ms. Banks and G-EAZY.

Tinashe has dropped off her latest project Songs for You, her fourth overall studio album and first independent release under Tinashe Music, Inc. With a new management deal under JAY-Z‘s Roc Nation, the 26-year-old enlists the help of MAKJ for “Save Room for Us,” Ms. Banks for “Die A Little Bit,” 6LACK for “Touch & Go” and G-Eazy for “So Much Better,” along with cuts like “Link Up,” “Feelings” and “Cash Race” originally made for her 2018 summer project, Nashe. The R&B star boasts 15 refreshing tracks in total that serve as strong reminders of her musicality and unique creative direction. She skillfully showcases her adaptive vocal range, mandating a project that stretches its root within trap, indie pop, hints of house, acoustic, and more.
“I’m so grateful for all of the support on my newest release, you have NO IDEA how much every stream, like, comment, share, story post means to me. Especially because I’m dropping this project independently… it really hits different,” Tinashe wrote in an Instagram post from October to promote the release of “Die A Little Bit.”
