Slam Jam x Nike Blazer "Class of 1977" Gets Dressed in Black
Reworking an earlier collaboration.
Slam Jam and Nike have followed up their white Blazer “Class of 1977” sneaker from early 2019 with a black take on the silhouette. The sneaker is a reconstruction of the 1977 original of the Nike Blazer, and comes in an inverted color palette from the earlier release.
The Blazer’s canvas and deconstructed leather upper is dressed in black, while its detailing — including flipped Swoosh and “Class of 1977” branding — comes in bright white. The sneaker is then finished with a corresponding special-edition packaging set.
The Slam Jam x Nike “Class of 1977” in black is set to release via Slam Jam, with only 1977 pairs available, before a limited run arrives on Nike’s Sneakrs platform. The raffle will run from November 9 until November 28, launching with an event in Los Angeles featuring Ho9909. The collaboration will then officially release on November 29.
