Skateboarding imprint Babylon LA has tapped the prolific graffiti writer MQ for a limited-edition Fall/Winter 2019 capsule collection.

Comprised of a hoodie, a long-sleeve and short-sleeve T-shirt, a pair of sweatpants and a cap, the pieces combine Babylon LA’s 100% cotton “Made in LA” quality with the artwork of MQ. The items sport box logo designs featuring both of Babylon’s moniker and the “MQIZM” tag, as well as the MQ Throw emblem which plays on a frowning face. The rear of the hoodie sports a large peace sign made out of repeated dual-branded box logo designs.

MQ was instrumental in the rising trend of hardcore graffiti tagging in the late ’80s and early ’90s, introducing his works to the highways, bridges and streets of New York under the DMS crew. He amassed a reputation for becoming a fearless tagger, and to this day maintains the style he perfected in the 1980s.

The collection is available online via Babylon LA’s website while stocks last, with prices ranging from $48 USD to $150 USD.
