A Better Look at the sacai x Nike LDWaffle in "White"

Following a few teasers that have popped up on the Internet, we now have our best look yet at the forthcoming sacai x Nike LDWaffle in demure white and grey thanks to @hanzuying.

sacai’s reworked Nike LDWaffle first caught the sneaker and fashion world’s attention when it made its debut on the runways of Paris last year. Playing on the theme of doubles, sacai’s leading lady Chitose Abe playfully incorporates twice as many details found on the classic Nike silhouette, such as the Swoosh insignias and laces.

The new iteration sees the pair done up in luxe white and grey leather and suede panels. The laces have also been doubled up and features both ribbon and cord-like takes. Instead of a mesh base, a thicker nylon material has been used alongside the leather and suede panels. Finally a matching white exaggerated midsole, which extends outwards from the heel, finishes off the overall look.
