Nike Celebrates Ekiden Season With Updated Zoom Pack
Dropping in a bullet train-inspired colorway.
Nike has returned to its Zoom family of silhouettes for a new pack celebrating Ekiden season in Japan. Beginning in October and continuing until the end of the year, Ekiden season sees thousands of teams from high schools and universities, as well as professional groups, compete in intranational road-racing relays across the country.
The silhouettes included are the Zoom Fly 3, the ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT%, the Zoom Pegasus Turbo 2, the Air Zoom Pegasus 36 and the Zoom Rival Fly. Marking Ekiden season, the most-watched annual sporting event in Japan, Nike has all wrapped five silhouettes in a teal colorway inspired by the country’s bullet trains. Throughout the pack there is also darker detailing, and hits of bold orange.
Take a look at the Nike Ekiden Zoom Pack in the gallery above, before it releases in Japan on December 3. The full capsule will then launch globally via the Nike web store on January 2.
