Stüssy‘s sense of community can be felt at each one of its Chapter Stores. Recently, GRIND Magazine took to the brand’s La Brea location in L.A., taking portraits of close friends and family dressed in Stüssy’s Holiday 2019 collection — the photographs were shot by L.A.’s very own Daniel Regan.

In a four-page spread of the Japanese magazine, the imagery highlights a series of classic streetwear and workwear styles behind the crisp backdrop of the city during sundown. Featured garments include burnished hazel-toned chore coats, cream-colored polar fleece zip-ups, camo windbreakers, baggy trousers and small accessories like hats. One noteworthy piece is a black Carhartt x Stussy work coat, detailed with contrasting white seams. The piece features a relatively boxy cut, complemented with small accents like Carhartt’s patch logo and “Stüssy” embroidery at the chest. Another piece is a monochromatic knitted sweater. It comes with a large “S” intarsia motif at the front, featuring a long coil at the tail of the graphic that circles inward. Other pieces like the multi-paneled button-up, brown corduroy pants, overalls and asymmetrical coach jacket uniformly demonstrate the label’s commitment to refining classic staples.

Elsewhere, NEEDLES has dropped layer-friendly down parkas for FW19.
