visvim Unveils Reversible Patchwork Iris Liner Jacket
Made from original bandanas.
As a follow up to visvim‘s monochromatic patchwork button-ups, Hiroki Nakamura‘s stalwart label has returned with a new bandana-clad iteration from its FW19 lineup — the reversible Iris Liner Jacket.
On the exterior side of the jacket, a slew of black and white bandanas have been put together in an intricate patchwork. Native American motifs like saddlebags, sun symbols, coyote tracks, hogans and mountain ranges have been sporadically placed throughout the piece, alongside Victorian-era patterns for an interesting mix. To contrast the black and white shades, cream-colored piping runs along the collars and follows through to the central closure, hem and cuffs. Two welt pockets are placed at the front, complemented by an additional two that are placed on the obverse side of the jacket. Flipped inside out, sketch-like drawings of people and horses have been illustrated over a light beige fabric base. The central closure features four buttonholes that can be hooked onto a large parka, while contrasting bandana panels around the upper forearms and Swiss riri zippers have been added as finishing touches.
visvim’s reversible patchwork Iris Liner Jacket is currently available at visvim.tv for $1,870 USD.
