Idris Elba Joins Cast of JAY-Z & Netflix Western 'The Harder They Fall'
The English actor stars opposite Jonathan Majors.
Idris Elba will once again head to the Wild Wild West in JAY-Z and Netflix‘s forthcoming film, The Harder They Fall. With Hov acting as producer alongside James Lassiter and Lawrence Bender, the all-black Western is helmed by British musician Bullitts (real name Jeymes Samuel) and marks his feature directorial debut. Samuel previously worked with Jay on The Great Gatsby soundtrack and sources claim that the upcoming movie will be taking a similar approach to music incorporation.
Elba stars opposite The Last Black Man of San Francisco‘s Jonathan Majors, who takes on the lead role of outlaw Nat Love. The Harder They Fall follows Love as he reunites his gang for revenge upon discovering that the man (Elba) who killed his parents 20 years ago is being released from prison.
Elsewhere in entertainment, Christian Bale recently revealed that he turned down an offer for a fourth Dark Knight movie.
