Following the release of the highly-anticipated Death Stranding, famed video game designer Hideo Kojima has teamed up with French eyewear designer J.F. Rey to produce a collection of optics thematically-centered around the game’s lead characters. Utilizing the characters of Sam Porter Bridges (played by Norman Reedus), Cliff (Mads Mikkelsen), Deadman (modeled after Guillermo Del Toro), and Heartman (modeled after Nicolas Winding Refn), the five new glasses feature the same design of those each character wears within the game.

The Sam model comes in matte black with orange-colored metal detailing throughout that features “Bridges” placed into the frame’s exterior. The Cliff and Cliff Skull models are representative of the two periods of which players interact with Mikkelsen’s character — one features a minimalistic wireframe in gunmetal with either optical or sun lenses, whereas the Skull iteration comes in either antic silver or antic bronze, featuring various bones and skulls that remain an ode to the character’s evil army. The Deadman glasses come in matte black with either optical or sun lenses, with the “Bridges” logo found on the acetate temple tips. The Heartman frames similarly come in two iterations of optic or sun lenses, with the base remaining silver with hints of blue throughout — the “Bridges” logo is placed on the temple end tips. More details can be found throughout the various glasses that signify that they are modeled off the character’s exact frames, with all coming packaged inside a specially-designed case and box.

You can check out all the pieces via the gallery above. All are currently available via J.F. Rey’s webstore with prices ranging between $240 and $370 USD.

For more related news, Errolson Hugh recently gifted Kojima with a special ACRONYM J1A-GT jacket.
