Grimes Shares New Single “So Heavy I Fell Through The Earth”
From her upcoming album ‘Miss_Anthropocene.’
Following the recent release of her music video for “Violence,” Grimes has launched the newest single from her upcoming Miss_Anthropocene album, “So Heavy I Fell Through The Earth.” The dark six-minute love song already has a full-length “Art Mix” and shorter “Algorithm Mix,” both shared by Grimes herself.
“So Heavy I Fell Through The Earth” is the third single from Grime’s eagerly-awaited album, which includes “Violence” and “We Appreciate Power,” which came out almost a year ago. Although the first single from Miss_Anthropocene essentially arrived an eternity ago (in the eyes of the fast-moving music industry, at least), the album still doesn’t have a release date. In a recent Instagram post, Grimes stated: “Hooo boy finally just got release dates for things from label this AM.” She also responded to a few comments, stating that a track called “My Name Is Dark” is up next, followed by “4æm,” which she is expected to arrive on December 12.
Check out the track above, complete with fantastical visualizer imagery, and look for Grimes to soon reveal the release dates for upcoming singles.
In the meantime, check out REASON’s new track with Ab-Soul, “Flick It Up.”
