Diplomacy Worldwide, a premium streetwear brand designed by award-winning creative director Eric Archibald, has landed inside The Park at Macy’s. Situated on the first floor of the retailer’s New York flagship, The Park is curated to showcase new brands, apparel assortments and curated collections for fashion-forward consumers trying to expand their style range with brands like Diplomacy Worldwide.
Diplomacy designs ready-to-wear pieces that feature thought-provoking messages related to the practices of mindfulness, tact, and civility. The Park will showcase exclusive pieces from the Holiday ’19 drop featuring their highly sought-after manifesto hoodies, statement t-shirts, and their best-selling pandaflage-lined reversible trench coats, which all embody the brand’s thoughtful design philosophies. The collection has already been seen on celebrities and cultural influencers including super-producer London On Da Track, Grammy Award winning artist H.E.R., chart-topper Summer Walker, and Toronto Raptors NBA Star Serge Ibaka.
The move is a major step for the brand that, under Archibald’s direction, has been mixing fashion-eccentric textures and color palettes to design collections that encapsulate premium, contemporary streetwear. Archibald’s footprint in the world of luxury streetwear has been essential, using his vision to forecast emerging trends to engender a sought-after perspective in fashion. “As a New York based brand we are excited to make our department store debut as an integral part of the iconic evolution of Macy’s Herald Square,” says Archibald. “We love the colorful, fashion-forward, and edgy selection of Diplomacy styles that Macy’s has curated.”
