size? Launches "Alternate Pack" With adidas Originals ZX 500 "Jordan"
Celebrating the Wadi Rum ultra-marathon.
UK-based retailer size? has launched its all-new “Alternate Pack,” paying tribute to adidas Originals‘ history of releasing marathon-inspired sneakers by celebrating some of the world’s lesser known races. The first silhouette in the pack is the ZX 500, which has been reworked in honor of Jordan’s Wadi Rum ultra-marathon, a race that begins in Petra and covers 260km over 5 days, taking runners past tombs, carvings and caves in the Jordanian desert.
To celebrate the desert race, the sneaker’s upper has been reworked into an “Ash Pearl” colorway. The ZX 500 uppers are constructed from smooth leather, which is adorned with “Active Orange” three stripe branding and a “Semi-Frozen Yellow” tab on the sidewall, which will appear on each silhouette in the capsule. Finishing off the design is an illustration referencing the sights seen by runners during the race.
The size? x adidas Originals ZX 500 “Jordan” is set to release via the size? web store on November 8, with other sneakers from the “Alternate Pack” arriving throughout the month.
