Youth-oriented Japanese retailer BEAUTY & YOUTH‘s laid-back attitude informs the casual outdoor technology popularized by Japan’s THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL for a brief set of Fall/Winter 2019 exclusives. Following the duo’s SS19 partnership, the new exclusives include a special coat and matching shoulder packs.
Two mountain coats and two shoulder pouches utilize a crispy 65/35 cotton/salted nylon blend for each items’ weather-resistant shell, all offered in charcoal and beige for versatile styling. The coats boast four pockets, pull tabs at the hood and a slouchy, oversized fit ideal for cold weather layering, complete with sturdy snap button closure and velcro at the sleeves for an adjustable fit. Meanwhile, the bags offer zippers, adjustable straps and loops on the front ideal for attaching carabiners, keys or anything else imagineable.
The exclusive mountain coats and shoulder pouches will launch via UNITED ARROWS’ web store — once it reopens after maintenance — and Japanese BEAUTY & YOUTH locations for ¥40,000 JPY (approximately $369 USD) and ¥6,400 JPY (approximately $60 USD), respectively.
