'Star Trek: Picard's New Trailer Brings Back Some Old Friends
Released at New York Comic Con.
Following the first trailer from San Diego Comic Con, Star Trek: Picard has released a second full-length trailer at New York Comic Con bringing back some of the previously-promised old friends of the celebrated Starfleet captain.
The trailer shows Sir Patrick Stewart’s Captain Jean-Luc Picard living a life of retirement and solitude in a scenic vineyard, seemingly suffering from some form of post-traumatic stress. His attempt at finding peace ends all of a sudden when a young woman approaches him and requests for his help. Getting back into action, Picard finds that the Federation is no longer what he used to know and respect. Vowing to help the girl, the Captain recruits both new faces and old friends in a mission to “right the future.”
Sir Patrick Stewart will be joined with a crew of new cast members including Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd, Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway, and Evan Evagora, as well as old co-stars such as Jeri Ryan, Brent Spiner, and Jonathon Frakes.
The Amazon Original Star Trek: Picard will be available January 24, 2020. For now, you can watch the newest trailer above.
Elsewhere in entertainment, the complete Marvel Infinity Saga 4K blu-ray boxset is now available.
