BAPE Readies Second Formula 1 Collaboration

Following their collaborative drop in April that sold out within a record-breaking 36 hours, BAPE and Formula 1 are now gearing up for a second capsule release filled with camo goodies.
Similar to the lineup released earlier this year, the range includes a bevy of F1-inspired apparel such as graphic long- and short-sleeved T-shirts. This time around the standout item of the release goes to the Shark Hoodie which has been emblazoned with the label’s Shark Face motif and ubiquitous Ape Head insignia. The option also sports “A Bathing Ape” and “F1 1000” motives throughout. Over on the tees, graphics of Baby Milo driving a race car and Ape Heads superimposed with a race car-filled track are featured. Along with the apparel items, a limited sticker will also be released.
The collaboration was initially teased during BAPE‘s 25th anniversary celebrations held last year in the bustling streets of Tokyo. Along with apparel items, BAPE and F1 debuted an impressive collaborative CAMO branded race car. In addition to the collection reveal, BAPELAND teamed up with photographer Badboi for an exclusive editorial featuring the collection, which was shot in Tokyo.
This special collaborative range also celebrates the upcoming 2019 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix. The collection is available now at select BAPE retailers and bape.com
