PUMA has unveiled its latest chunky sneaker offering, the RS-X³ LEVEL UP. Releasing early next month in “PUMA Black/Hot Coral” and “PUMA White/Lime Punch,” the sneaker showcases the brand’s vision for the next step in its RS-X line, introducing amplified detailing and a strong mix of colors for a back to the ’90s look.
The new silhouette sports plenty of overlapping layers throughout, with bulbous light PU components gracing the clean white midsole. The sole unit is finished with a multicolored rubber outsole which takes its palette from the multi-textured uppers.
PUMA has used a mixture of leather, suede, mesh and canvas on the uppers, with each panel standing out against the rest thanks to the host of contrasting hues. The layers are wavy and naturally curve around the RS-X³’s shape, delivering more nods to PUMA’s retro heritage.
Both pairs are finished with engineered and printed branding, with its tongue tab sporting blocky retro lettering alongside the PUMA logo. Take a look at the PUMA RS-X³ LEVEL UP in both its bright “Hot Coral” rendition as well as the muted, lemon and violet-tinged “Lime Punch” offering in the gallery above. They will retail for $105 USD each and can be purchased from PUMA.com and select retailers such as END. on November 2.
