HAIM Share Tale of Depression in Paul Thomas Anderson-Directed "Now I'm In It" Visual
The sister trio is back with a new single.
Los Angeles-based sister trio HAIM have been ramping up their energy following the release of 2017’s sophomore album, Something To Tell You. Throughout 2019, they lent their efforts to Charli XCX on “Warm,” Gesaffelstein on “So Bad,” as well as released their “Walk On The Wild Side” channeling cut “Summer Girl.”
After teasing the new song last weekend, the three-piece has now released a new single and video for “Now I’m In It,” once again tapping auteur and longtime collaborator Paul Thomas Anderson (who equally directed the video for “Summer Girl”). Danielle recently shared with fans via social media that the song displays the sister’s varying struggles with depression, noting that the “track is chaotic — like my mind when I’m spiraling, fast-talking to myself — words jumbled up. Heartbeat racing. These times are horde to forget and even harder to work through.”
