Stephen Curry Breaks Hand Amidst Golden State Warriors Rough Season Start
During the team’s latest 121-110 loss to the Phoenix Suns.
Already struggling this season after an embarrassing season opener, according to reports, Golden State Warriors Point Guard Stephen Curry has broken his left hand during the team’s recent 121-110 loss to the Phoenix Suns.
During the third quarter of the game, Curry drove to the rim colliding with Aron Baynes who was planning to take a charge. Falling hard with Baynes landing on top of him, Curry remained on the ground for quite some time clutching his wrist. The face of the Warriors was unable to take his free throws and ultimately was benched after attempting to stay in the game. Insiders are now noting that Curry will be receiving both an MRI and CT scan on his fracture in the second metacarpal to determine if he needs surgery and to get a rough timeline of his recovery
The bad news stacks against the struggling team that is looking to find itself after Kevin Durant‘s departure, Klay Thompson has been sidelined while recovering from an ACL injury and Kevon Looney is dealing with a neuropathic condition.
