nonnative x IDEA x Public Release Recordings Team-up for "Feeling" Capsule
“It’s not a genre, it’s a feeling.”
nonnative presents its latest visuals for a three-way collaboration with IDEA and Public Release Recordings. The capsule makes use of the Fergus Purcell-designed “FEELING” print, and sees the stylized text across a hoodie, T-Shirt, and a cap; all three items are available in the choice of blue, beige and black.
The capsule unites three eclectic cities via the love of music and the creative print medium — bringing together Tokyo, London and San Francisco. IDEA carved out its path by bringing the world’s best designers, photographers and creatives together through the curation of vintage books and magazines; they then expanded on to publishing in 2015 where they released titles from the likes of Alasdair McLellan and Harmony Korine. Public Release Recordings, led by Eugene “Eug” Whang, focuses on embracing underground music via its independent record label. The label is responsible for acts such as Tim Sweeney, Velvet Season & The Hearts of Gold, and Eric Duncan, to name a few.
Those interested in picking up a few pieces from the capsule can find it over at vendor, Coverchord, IDEA online, Dover Street Market Los Angeles & Ginza. The items retail for ¥23,000, ¥12,000, and ¥8,000 JPY (approximately $213, $110, and $73 USD) for the DWELLER HOODY COTTON SWEAT OVERDYED “Feeling,” DWELLER 6P CAP COTTON TWILL “Logos,” and DWELLER S/S TEE COTTON JERSEY “Feeling,” respectively.
