Nike Refreshes the Air VaporMax Plus in "Light Current Blue"
A cool iteration of the tech-forward silhouette.
Following up on a striped gray design inspired by a discounted sneaker box, Nike‘s Air VaporMax Plus gets an updated silhouette. The model’s latest iteration takes on a more subdued approach in a calming gradient blue colorway.
A nod to the retro Air Max Plus, the shoe gets a floating webbed overlay that blends in seamlessly with the rest of the shoe, while adding some textile curves to the neoprene upper. Navy blue hues hit the collar, heel tab, heel counter and lining, as Nike’s Swoosh makes an understated appearance along the side and tongue. Supported by its signature VaporMax sole unit, the translucent cushioning also takes on a tonal dark blue form, evoking a serene aquatic feel to the overall sneaker.
