Nike Color-Blocks Air Force 1 '07 LV8 NBA With Three Bold Iterations
Glossed with satin panels.
Two weeks ago, Nike brought out two iterations of its Air Force 1 High ‘07 LV8 donned in “Lakers” and “Clippers” colorways. This time around, the American footwear giant has released low top iterations in colors of “Black/White,” “University Red/Black” and “Amarillo/Black.”
Reeling back through the archives, the Nike Air Force 1 ‘07 LV8 NBA brings back some major specs of the original silhouette from 1982, while blending them with today’s functional necessities for a refined look and feel. All three colorways have been given contrasting tones that alternate between the heel counter and the front half of the Swoosh. The “Black/White” model sees a white area on the tail end of the Swoosh logo, while the “University Red/Black” and “Amarillo/Black” follows the same design scheme, except with the addition of a black backstay. The rest of the shoe is made up of the motifs of the classic Air Force 1, like the perforated toe box and chunky midsole, rendered in classic white. Lastly, the silhouette also comes with an outsole pivot circle that optimizes grip.
The Nike Air Force 1 ‘07 LV8 NBA “Black/White,” “University Red/Black” and “Amarillo/Black” are currently available at nike.com for $112 USD.
Elsewhere, Champion has released its ultra-cozy “University” slippers.
