NikeLab Chicago is Hosting Creative Workshops Celebrating the 2019 Chicago Marathon
From October 9 to 14.
With the 2019 Bank of America Chicago Marathon just around the corner, Nike has decided to celebrate the occasion by hosting more workshops at its NikeLab Chicago Re-Creation Center c/o Virgil Abloh. The workshops will take place daily, providing “hands-on creative sessions” and other creative workshops from October 9 through 14. Fans can visit the location to learn more about the history of one of the sports world’s biggest brands, while experimenting and co-creating products that brings together lifestyle and sport.
For those unfamiliar, the NikeLab Chicago Re-Creation Center c/o Virgil Abloh launched back in May this year and has regularly held various events and workshops for fans and creatives alike. According to Nike, the Center is “a space built to teach and inspire the next generation of visionaries and innovators who make [Chicago] a cultural hub and creative powerhouse; a destination where analytical thinkers are welcome to explore and question; and a hub for all to problem solve issues of sustainability, of performance or to simply sketch and ideate.”
