'One Piece' & PUMA Unveil Opulent Gold & Silver-Toned Cell Venom Collaboration
Referencing Gild Toreso and more.

One Piece, the iconic Japanese manga series created by Eiichiro Oda, has teamed up with PUMA once more to rework the Cell Venom.
The announcement comes after a teaser dropped by the duo back in August, which followed on from recent One Piece collaborations with the likes of UNIQLO UT.
One Piece previously lent its hand to the PUMA Cell Endura, tapping its ship the Thousand Sunny. This time around, the collaboration looks to the main antagonist of One Piece Film: Gold, the former casino king and proprietor of Gran Tesoro (the largest entertainment city-ship in the world,) Gild Tesoro.
As a result, the PUMA Cell Venom adopts a flashy design doused in metallic silver and gold, with an intricate pattern — that is similar to Sanji’s eyebrows — overlayed on sections of the mid-panel and branding finished in gold. The sneaker’s standout feature is its crisscrossed chain that wraps over the shoe’s vamp, which holds a pirate-themed key that features a skull motif in the centre. The chain is connected to silver-toned leather loops on the toe box and heel tab.
The One Piece x PUMA Cell Venom features a white sole unit and clear cushioning technology at the rear, and comes in a collaborative box adorned with depictions of Franky, Brook, Robin, and Luffy. Take a look at the collaborative sneaker in the gallery above and pick up a pair for yourself on October 11 at the list of Japanese retails below for ¥18,000 JPY (approx. $168 USD).
