Midnight Studios FW19 Lookbook Channels Punk in Californian Wasteland
From deconstructed bombers to translucent trench coats.

Taken amidst the dusty hills of a Californian wasteland, Midnight Studios has returned with its FW19 lookbook, showcasing the latest seasonal lineup of garments steeped in Shane Gonzales‘ distinctive punk-driven sensibilities.
Featured is an assemblage of pieces, like asymmetrical denim and motorcycle jackets, lathered in collage-like prints, multiple zippers, acid-dyes and other graphics and motifs that reference American culture. Standout pieces like the deconstructed bombers and monochromatic denim jackets showcase a refined take on punk-inspired garments.
Another signature is the translucent skeleton print trench coat, emblazoned at the front with a silhouette of a rib cage, while bones are printed over the arms. Further is a white bomber that’s been cut into the shape of a motorcycle jacket. Complete with silver-toned hardware, the piece sees padded insulation and a red Alpha Industries tag hanging over the left arm. Other pieces like the “Dreamer” crewneck, graphic hoodies and a long-sleeve with a portrait of Mick Jagger shine a light on Gonzales’ directional approach for refining contemporary garments.
Midnight Studios’ FW19 collection will be available at midnightstudios.live starting October 11, releasing drops every Friday onwards.
Elsewhere, Stone Island has added paintball camo jackets and pants to its FW19 lineup.
