Nike‘s got big plans for Dia De Los Muertos this year, including releasing a special “Day Of The Dead” take on the ever-popular Air Force 1 Low.

Inspired by the striking iconography and vibrant hues of Mexico’s annual homage to the deceased, these Air Force 1s offer a sublimated sugar skull print that graces the mudguard, midfoot Swoosh, and heel/collar. When the lights go down, its style goes up even further — every inch of the pattern is fully reflective.

The details don’t stop there. Yellow, green, blue, and orange piping is applied across the seams to provide the festive colors associated with the celebrations. A bold black heel tab and black stitching on the midsole add a slight touch of contrast, while a pink grid pattern/Swoosh graphic on the tongue plus bronze lace deubres bring modern-day branding into the fold as well. The look is then finalized by a duo of printed pink sugar skulls: small on the tongue liner, large on the insole.

Dia De Los Muertos celebrations run from October 31st to November 2nd — and of course, Halloween is on October 31 in the US — so these Forces will be yours for the taking before the holiday when they release on October 15 at retailers like Sneakersnstuff and over at nike.com. The price is set at an even $100 USD, and they’ll be accompanied by a similarly themed Nike Cortez.

In other Air Force 1 news, a three-pack of satin-coated, NBA-themed styles just released as well.
