Matthew M. Williams Joins Stüssy for Collaborative Tee and ROA Shoes
Washed out garment dyes and hand-applied “mud.”

1017 ALYX 9SM creative director Matthew M. Williams joins his friends at Stüssy for a set of bespoke goods. Keeping in line with Williams’ hands-on approach to craft, the creative has designed a specially dyed T-shirt and remixed a set of co-branded boots.
Utilizing recycled organic cotton, Williams created a boxy Stüssy-branded T-shirt, executed in a washed-out orange garment dye. On the rear is the enigmatic “S” shape often associated with Stüssy, complete with the brand’s favored crown graphic. Along with the shirt, Williams has tapped ROA for a pair of tall leather hiking shoes, completed with embroidered co-branding at the tongues and a hand-applied faux mud treatment around the lower portion of the shoe.
Stüssy’s website and North American Chapter Stores will host the drop on October 18 along with stockists like LN-CC before the goods hit global Stüssy outposts on October 25.
Most recently, Stüssy announced an archive sale in New York.
